Tennis : Nick Kyrgios beats qualifier Alexander Bublik to reach third round of Miami Open

After receiving a first-round bye, Nick Kyrgios opened his Miami Open challenge with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Kazak qualifier Alexander Bublik.Ranked 131st in the world, 21-year-old Bublik had knocked out American Tennys Sandren in the first round but Kyrgios proved to be in a different league. The Australian world number 33 used all his power and experience to subdue Bublik and earn his place in the third round, where he will face Dusan Lajovic, conqueror of fifth seed Kei Nishikori in the previous round.
