Daniela Holmqvist holds a one shot lead at the halfway stage of the Women's British Open at Royal Troon in Scotland. The 32 year-old Swede signed for a one under par 70 on Friday and is currently the only player in the field under par at -1 for the championship. Austin Ernst of the United States stands at level par overall after also shooting a 70, aided by a handy chip in for par at the 9th. Just three shots cover the next 14 players on the leaderboard, but overnight leader Amy Olson isn't one of them. The American shot a 10-over 81 - quite a contrast to her 4-under par opening round of 67. But at least Olson will make the weekend - unfortunately the defending champion, Japan's Hinako Shibuno, missed the cut after she followed her opening 76 with a 78 on Friday, +12 overall.
