Scottie Scheffler posted just the 12th sub-60 round in PGA Tour history, thanks to a 59 at the The Northern Trust on Friday. Yet at one stage, Dustin Johnson looked as though he might eclipse that. He was 9-under through eight holes, and with two birdies to start the back nine, Johnson was 11-under through 11 holes. He eventually settled for a 60, giving him a two-shot lead over Scheffler and a 15-under-par 127. Cameron Davis is third at the halfway stage, a further two shots back. Tiger Woods and Justin Rose just made the cut, 12 shots of Johnson's score.
