Medvedev won 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 in two hours and 20 minutes to book a semi-final spot against Djokovic's Serbian compatriot Dusan Lajovic.It's the third relatively early exit for Djokovic recently, following his third round defeat at Indian Wells and a fourth round loss in Miami last month.
