Motor Sport :Elfyn Evans leads after the opening stage of Rally Sweden

Elfyn Evans opened up a lead of almost eight seconds over his Toyota team-mate Kalle Rovanpera following the opening stage of Rally Sweden in the World Rally Championship. The Welshman won two of the opening three stages to lead by 7.9 seconds over Finland's Rovanpera. Hyundai's Ott Tanak was 8.7 seconds adrift of Evans in third with six-times world champion Sebastien Ogier in fourth (16.4 secs).
