Ott Tanak's Hyundai debut did not go to plan in the two night-time stages of the 2020 Monte Carlo Rally with the reigning World Rally Champion crashing out in the second stage. Tanak and his co-driver Martin Jarveoja were travelling at high speed when their i20 Coupe WRC dropped down into a ditch and entered a lengthy barrel roll - luckily the two came out of the crash unharmed. The first stage was won by Sebastien Ogier followed by Kalle Rovanpera and then Britain's Elfyn Evans finished third on the dry asphalt roads.
