Football: Al Kuwait beat Al Najma 1-0 in Group B of the AFC Cup

Al Kuwait registered the first win of their 2019 AFC Cup campaign in dramatic fashion as they beat Bahrain's Al Najma 1-0. Shaheen Al Khamees was the visitors' hero on the night in Riffa with his strike in the fifth minute of added time. With the win, Al Kuwait moved up to second in Group B on four points, three behind leaders Al Jazeera of Jordan at the halfway mark of the group stage.
