Cricket News: Virat Kohli becomes the first Asian captain to win a test in India, SA and Australia

With India’s emphatic win in the first Test in Adelaide, Virat Kohli became the first Asian captain to win Tests in England, South Africa and Australia. Former India captain Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni won Test matches in England and South Africa but never managed to win one Down Under. The last occasion when India won a test in Australia was 10 years ago in 2008 under the captaincy of Anil Kumble at the WACA in Perth. While the last time India won a test in Adelaide was 15 years ago in 2003 under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly. This is also the first time India has won the opening Test match on an Australian tour.
