Motor Sport: Lewis Hamilton drives a 1955 Mercedes 196R, Bottas drives car from 1937

Formula One drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas were in attendance as Mercedes-Benz celebrated 125 years of their involvement in motorsport at Silverstone Circuit in England last week. Hamilton, Bottas and a selection of special guests took to the track in a series of iconic cars from the German automobile manufacturer's history. Reigning F1 champion Hamilton was behind the wheel of a 1955 Mercedes 196R, while Bottas took to the track in a 1937 W 125 Mercedes. The Mercedes pair fill the top two spots in the drivers' championship standings two rounds into the current F1 season, but it is flying Finn who leads on 44 points, with Briton Hamilton a single point behind.
