The Dakar Series Merzouga Rally continued with stage two - another day in the huge dunes of the Merzouga desert in Morocco. The motorbike stage winner, after the gruelling 240-kilometre trek, was Sherco TVS rider Michael Metge in a time of three hours and 42 minutes. KTM's Oriol Mena was one minute and 16 seconds behind while stage one winner - Yamaha Racing's Adrian Van Beveren - finished third and holds on to top spot in the general classification. The side-by-side category saw 2019 Dakar Rally Nasser Al-Attiyah and partner Mattieu Baumel extend their overall lead to more than eight minutes after dominating for the second day running. Their time of four hours and two minutes was 11 minutes faster than second-placed Conrad Rautenbach and Ola Floene; Juan Miguel Medero and Diego Ortega Gil were third.
