Baskonia produced a dominant performance in their Euroleague round 21 contest with Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday, thrashing the Israeli side 97-73 to end their four-match winning run. The Spanish side took the lead early in the first quarter and never looked back, eventually opening up a 26-point advantage towards the end of the fourth quarter. Johannes Voigtmann led Baskonia with 20 points, while his American team-mate Darrun Hilliard added 19. Luca Vildoza and Shields Shavon contributed 16 and 13 points, respectively, for Baskonia. Baskonia improved to a 10-11 win-loss record to move up to eighth in the standings, while Maccabi dropped to 9-12 to sit in tenth place. Scottie Wilbekin was Tel-Aviv's top-scorer on 19 points, with Johnny O'Bryant and Tarik Black also reaching double figures.
