Basketball : Barcelona beat Panathinaikos 79-68 in Euroleague

Barcelona made it five Euroleague wins in a row when they defeated Panathinaikos 79-68 on Friday. The home side got better as the match wore on - helped by a virtuoso performance from Kevin Seraphin who made six of his side's 12 offensive rebounds and also scored 14 points. Thomas Heurtel top-scored for Barca with 23, while Ioannis Papapetrou scored 17 for the Greek side. Barcelona's win takes them sixth in the standings, Panathinaikos drop to tenth.
