The first wrestlers have started to book their places at the Tokyo Olympics - thanks to their performances at a qualifying event in Sofia. Georgios Pilidis of Greece edged out Slovenia's David Habat 9-7 in the semi-finals of the 65-kg category. Victory in the final against Magomedmurad Gadzhiev is something of an irrelevance as both have now secured their places in Japan, courtesy of reaching the last two. Sumit Malik earned his place in Tokyo thanks to a comprehensive 5-0 win against Venezuela's Jose Daniel Diaz Robertti. The Indian faces Sergei Kozyrev of Russia in the climax to the 125-kg competition.
