Tokyo Olympics : India beat GB 3-1 to enter Tokyo Olympic SF

Indian men's hockey team beat Great Britain 3-1 in the quarter-final to enter the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics. Dilpreet Singh scored the opening goal followed by a goal by Gurjant Singh as Indian took an important 2-0 lead going into half-time. Goal-keeper PR Sreejesh was once again brilliant under the bar sving numerous attempts made by Britain players and conceding only one goal. Hardik Singh's third goal sealed the deal for India as the eight time champions entered their first semi-final since the 1980 Moscow Olympics and they will now face reigning world champions Belgium for a place in the final. The Manpreet Singh led side showed great attack in the first half and a great defence in the second half to help India enter the first ever Olympic semi-final in 41 years and now will have to beat Belgium to enter the final. The way they have beaten Argentina, New Zealand, Spain, Japan and now Great Britain anything looks possible for the blue sticks.
