Tokyo Olympics : PV Sindhu bags second Olympic medal

India's PV Sindhu defeated He Bing Jiao of China 21-13, 21-15 in 53 minutes to win the bronze medal for India. It's her second consecutive Olympic medal adding to her historic silver at 2016 Rio Games. The Hyderabadi shuttler looked in great touch right from the start taking an 11-8 lead and racing away with the first game 21-13. In the second game the Chinese player did put a fight but Sindhu dictated terms in the end to help India bag third medal in Tokyo Olympics one in weightlifting, one in boxing and now one in badminton. PV Sindhu becomes the first Indian shuttler and the second Indian athlete after wrestler Sushil Kumar to win back-to-back Olympic medals for India. PV Sindhu's medal means India will end the Tokyo Olympics with a better medals tally than Rio Olympics 2016. And Sindhu after losing her semi-final match to Tai Tzu-Ying re-focused for the bronze medal match and registered a comprehensive win.
