Tennis: Osaka defeats Sasnovich to reach third round of Cincinnati Masters

Second seed Naomi Osaka of Japan defeated Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus 7-6(3), 2-6, 6-2 after two hours and six minutes in the second round of the Cincinnati Masters. Osaka now faces Taiwan's Su-Wei Hsieh in the third round of the competition.
