Third seed Elina Svitolina was dumped out of the second round of the National Bank Open in Montreal on Wednesday by Johanna Konta. The British number one rallied from a set down to defeat the world number five 3-6 6-3 6-2 Konta soon found herself trailing 3-0 to the Ukrainian in the opening set after losing serve. She regrouped in the second and forced a decider after clinching a crucial break in the eighth game to go on to serve out the set 6-3 and level things up. The momentum stayed with Konta, who broke twice in the decider to wrap up victory and set up a last-16 clash with either America's Coco Gauff, seeded 15th, or Russian qualifier Anastasia Potapova.
