Tennis: 2016 WTA Finals winner Cibulkova announces her retirement

At the age of 30, Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova has taken retirement from professional tennis. Cibulkova would be remembered for winning the 2016 WTA Finals and reaching the final of 2014 Australian Open. Cibulkova rose attain her career-best ranking of No. 4 in May 2017. According to Cibulkova, she has been thinking about retirement for more than a year.
