News: Sanjita Chanu demands enquiry after IWF admits mistake

Commonwealth Games Gold medallist Sanjita Chanu has demanded an enquiry after International Weightlifting Federation admitted that it has committed a mistake in giving the exact sample number of the weightlifter. According to the letter sent to the National Anti-Doping Agency by the world body, IWF has admitted to mentioning two different urine sample numbers in its communication of her dope flunk earlier this year. It has been reported that while sending the dope result notification to Sanjita on May 15, the IWF mentioned sample code number. The admission from the IWF came after the Prime Minister's Office had written to the Sports Ministry to look into the matter.
