India registered a thumping victory over 13th ranked USA in the Olympic qualifiers clash. Team USA were seen in complete struggle all throughout the four quarters. Be it their attacking arsenal or the defending strategy, USA were simply lacking in execution. India opted for substitutions at the right time during the fourth quarter when the team needed it the most. Talking about the USA's attack, it looked like it didn't go as expected, although the team made enough efforts in the final quarter with forwards trying to capitalise, but it failed to get executed. USA got plenty of chances to score, including a penalty corner, but the Indian defence stood like a wall and didn't let USA breach it.
