Football News : Leicester City win FA Cup for first time after beating Chelsea 1-0 in final

Leicester City won the FA Cup for the first time in club history on Saturday after beating Chelsea 1-0 in the final - Youri Tielemans' brilliant second half strike the difference between the two sides. Wembley Stadium welcomed 21,000 fans for the match and although there was little to cheer in the first half, Tielemans' long-range drive past goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga brought the game to life. Former Leicester player Ben Chilwell looked to have forced an equaliser in the 89th minute when his pass was half-cleared by Caglar Soyuncu before going in off substitute Wes Morgan. Referee Michael Oliver disallowed the goal after a VAR review though - Chilwell offside in the build-up - and the 'Foxes' finally lifted the FA Cup after finishing as runners-up on four occasions. It was a fourth FA Cup final appearance in five seasons for Chelsea, but the 'Blues' have won only one of those matches, beating Manchester United in 2018 for their eighth title.
