Cricket News : Pakistan blame India for NZ team's withdrawal

Pakistan Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry is claiming that the threat to New Zealand's cricket team that led to the cancellation of their Pakistan tour on September 17 came in an email that originated in India. Recently, New Zealand abandoned the series citing a government "security alert" on the day when the first match of the tour was supposed to begin. The English men’s and women’s cricket teams have abruptly canceled plans to play in Pakistan next month, the second international withdrawal for a country both obsessed with the sport and increasingly worried about its image on the world stage. Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting – Fawad Chaudhry said the cancellation of the New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan was the result of a fifth-generation hybrid war against his country as fake news was generated by India to scuttle the tour.
