Tennis: Su-Wei Hsieh battles back against Anett Kontaveit for place in Miami Open semi-finals

Anett Kontaveit overcame a 4-0 deficit in the deciding set to oust Hsieh Su-Wei 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 in the Miami Open quarter-finals. Thirty-three-year-old Hsieh has been playing the best tennis of her life to reach a career-high ranking of 23 in the world, and she started strongly to claim the first set. Kontaveit, who is also enjoying a career-high ranking at 19 in the world, then cruised through the second to send the match into a deciding set. The match changed course once again as Hsieh raced to a 4-0 lead and looked on course for victory, only for Kontaveit to reignite her challenge by winning seven of the last eight games to wrap up the win. The Estonian will play either third seed Petra Kvitova or Ashleigh Barty, seeded 12, in the last four.
