Simona Halep eased into the quarter-finals of the Rome Open after a straight sets win over Dayana Yastremska. The top seed, who didn't play in the recent US Open, won through after a 7-5 6-4 win. The Romania will fuce Yulia Putintseva for a place in the last-four.
