Tennis: Denis Shapovalov ousts Tomas Berdych in World Tennis Tournament

Denis Shapovalov advanced to the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. The Canadian ninth seed beat Czech veteran Tomas Berdych 6-4, 6-3, hitting 33 winners to Berdych's nine. Shapovalov, still looking for his first title on the ATP World Tour, will face 2015 champion Stan Wawrinka in the last eight. The pair have played just once before, Shapovalov coming out on top at the Japan Open in October last year.
