Top seed Roberto Bautista Agut put on a clinical display to beat up-and-coming Frenchman Ugo Humbert 6-3, 6-3 at the Open Sud de France in Montpellier. After converting all four breakpoints, the Spanish served out to win on his first match point. Bautista Agut, who is chasing a 10th career title and first since winning in Doha in 2019, meets unheralded Peter Gojowczyk in Saturday's semi-final.
