News: CBI arrests 6 Sports Authority Of India officials

A piece of news which has shaken the entire nation and exposed the SAI malpractices as the Central Bureau of Investigation carried out a surprise raid at the Sports Authority Of India headquarters and have arrested 6 officials. The cause for their arrests is said to be allegations of bribery against some officials of the sports body, including an officer bearer at the director-level rank. One can say this is probably the first time that the SAI headquarter has been raided by the country’s premier investigative agency, even though CBI has probed cases against SAI officials in the past and some cases are still being investigated.
