Wrestling News: Wrestling federation in loggerheads with Sports Ministry

Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has stated that proposal for a foreign coach is pending with the government for the past one year despite completing all the formalities in the matter. Although, Singh refused to comment on the reason behind the delay but he added that if he started talking about the issue then it would "go very far". Singh also asserted that he would not let these shortcomings impact their preparations for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In the same breath he added that if the government did not approve their demand then the federation would itself appoint a foreign coach.
