A nightmarish fourth stage of the Dakar Rally saw Skyler Howes finish in 20th - and lose his overall lead of the bike classification. That honour now goes to Xavier de Soultrait. Joan Barreda Bort was quickest on Wednesday over the 337 kilometres from Wadi Ad-Dawasir to Riyadh. Stephane Peterhansel and Edouard Boulanger maintained their commanding lead in the autos category. The French duo finished just 11 seconds behind their closest rivals in the standings - Nasser al-Attiyah and Matthieu Baumel. The gap at the top in the overall table - four minutes and 58 seconds.
