Ice Hockey News: Ladakh experiences Ice Hockey Championship

The 12th Chief Executive Councillor Ice Hockey Championship was inaugurated at the Karzoo ice hockey rink on Tuesday in Leh. The tournament is organised by Ladakh Winter Sports Club. A total of 16 teams - 9 men's teams and 7 women's teams - are participating in the tournament. In the men's opening game, Chushul outplayed Skara Sporting Club, while in women's first match, Secmol defeated Spituk. The tournament which is 12 years old now has seen an increase in the participation among the girls.
