Football News: Neymar has no plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain before 2027

According to rumours, Neymar won't try to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current campaign. The forward's season has been hampered by injuries, but he has still managed to produce 18 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

Yet, it has recently been suggested that the Brazilian international could leave Parc des Princes at the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season. The 31-year-old is alleged to have engaged in two recent altercations in the changing room, one involving Kylian Mbappe earlier in the season and another this month with Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike.

Also, there have been rumours that club management are open to a sale the forward. Because English sides are best positioned to satisfy the versatile attacker's valuation and wage demands, several Premier League clubs are rumoured to have started keeping an eye on any developments about his future.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Chelsea are all being linked with a move for the Brazilian. But, Neymar currently has no plans to leave PSG prior to the expiration of his contract in 2027, according to L'Equipe.

That would prevent PSG from recouping any of the €222 million they invested in him in 2017. Thus, the former Barcelona star has decided to stay with the Ligue 1 powerhouse until the age of 35.

Given that Lionel Messi's long-term future in Paris is currently in doubt, if that viewpoint turns out to be accurate, it might be viewed as good at this time.

After signing a new deal last summer, there have been conflicting rumours regarding Kylian Mbappe's happiness with life in the French city.

Due to an ankle sprain he suffered during the thrilling 4-3 victory over Lille on Sunday, Neymar is temporarily out of action.
