With the all important Olympic qualifiers round 2 and SAFF Cup right around the corner. The Indian Women’s football team is all set to participate in an upcoming 8 nation tournament to be held in Turkey. The Turkish Women’s Cup will feature teams such as Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Romania, France, Northern Ireland, Jordan, India and hosts Turkey. This exposure trips serves as the perfect opportunity for the Indian women’s team to work on their game plan and rectify certain errors which they made in the recent Gold Cup which resulted in them being knocked out of the tournament.
