Cricket: Sanju Samson reveals story behind Steve Smith’s funny nickname

Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson revealed his franchise’s skipper Steve Smith's nickname. "It started with Brad Hodge, he used to call Smith ‘Chachu’, and then when Hodgy left, I started calling Smith ‘Chachu’. In return, Smith also started calling me ‘Chachu’ We both really enjoy and continue calling each other that," said Samson during a live chat with New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi on a social media platform. Samson also reflected on his time spent with the Indian team, learnings from his international teammates like Smith, Butler and how they have impacted his cricket.
