Cricket: 'Hopefully India series still on' - Labuschagne

Australia's new batting superstar Marnus Labuschagne secured his first ever annual contract and it was followed by another bonanza as Australia promoted to be the world number one ranked team in both Tests and T20 formats. Labuschagne scored 1249 runs at 83.26 in his career to date. But the Australia middle order batsman still has to go through a final litmus test to join the list of the world’s super stalwarts. India will travel to Australia for a Test series in November. The upcoming crucial series would end the financial crisis Cricket Australia is going through and it may establish Labuschagne in a top league of world batsmen. “Yeah, it's obviously really exciting when whenever you're playing India, because obviously you know that the amount of good players they have on their side. And obviously the, you know, the real competitive nature between the two countries. Hopefully all things go well,” says Labuschagne.
