Pakistan beat Scotland by a huge margin to end their campaign on a high. There were never any lows from their side as they went onto win five out of five. Earlier they won the toss and batted against Scotland in a bid to top Group 2. They were put on a tight leash by Scotland before they started to attack the seamers. However, Mohammad Rizwan lost his stumps to young Hamza and Pakistan continued to struggle for runs. Although Babar Azam hit fifty, Shoaib Malik ruled the roost slamming three sixes in the final over to garner 43 off the final over. Scotland batters never looked like chasing the target and could only manage 117/6 in 20 overs.
