IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel confirms that the BCCI has picked the United Arab Emirates as the venue for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League and plans are in motion to ensure a full-fledged tournament is hosted.The ICC announced the postponement of the 2020 T20 World Cup which was scheduled to be held in Australia between October 18 and November 15 later this year and the Asia Cup also got postponed and all these decisions cleared the coast for the BCCI to prepare hosting the IPL which at the moment stands postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.According to reports in the media IPL will be held from September 26 to November 8 but IPL Chairman Patel said the dates that the dates will be finalized only once the government gives them the go-ahead. This will be the third time that IPL will be held outside India and for the second time in UAE.
