Delhi's pacer Ishant Sharma is ruled out of the remainder of the IP-13 after suffering a muscle tear during a team training session. The 32 year old Ishant Sharma featured in just 1 IPL game this season, against Hyderabad where he went wicketless. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have been bowling exceptionally for Delhi with Rabada being the leading wicket-taker so far with 17 wickets to his name. On the other hand, Punjab's opening batsman Chris Gayle is back on the training ground, having recovered from his stomach infection and is likely to be available for their next IPL 2020 match against Bangalore to be played on Thursday. Gayle was seen back training in the nets for Punjab. Gayle's return to fitness will be a big boost for Punjab as they are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table, having registered just one win out of the seven matches they have played so far. But the problem is who will he replace in the opening slot and if not then will be bat lower down.
