New Zealand defeated India by four runs in the third and final Twenty20 International to clinch the series 2-1 at Hamilton on Sunday. Chasing a mammoth 213-run target, India could only manage 208/7 in their 20 overs. Vijay Shankar was the top-scorer for India with 43. Earlier, put into bat by India, a brilliant top-order batting display helped New Zealand post a mammoth 212/4. Colin Munro's 72 off 40 balls and Tim Seifert's 43-run knock set up a perfect platform for the other batters which helped them post a massive total. Apart from the duo, Colin de Grandhomme (30) and Kane Williamson (27) also contributed handsomely. New Zealand’s Colin Munro was named Man of the Match while Tim Seifert was adjudged Player of the Series.
