Cricket News: New Zealand women beat India women to win the T20I series 3-0

The New Zealand Women’s beat the Indian women’s team by a mere 2 runs in a closely fought encounter. As a result of their win the NZ team also clean sweeped the series 3-0. Opting to bat first after winning the toss NZ posted 161-7 in their 20 overs. Once again it was Sophie Devine who did the bulk of the scoring and ended up with 72 to her name. India once again had a solid start to their chase with Smriti Mandhana top scoring with 86 but she was dismissed, things went all downhill for India as they were unable to get 16 of the last over.
