In a thrilling game in Nagpur, India beat Nagpur by 8 runs in a closely fought encounter to take a 2-0 lead in the series. The Aussies after winning the toss put India in to bat first. The Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan failed to give India a good start and got out early. It was captain Kohli who took the onus on himself and notched up his 40th ODI century to power India to the 250 runs mark. The Aussies looked well set in their chase thanks to vital contributions from Aaron Finch, Khwaja and Marcus Stonis but lost their last 5 wickets for just 71 runs to fall agonizingly short of the target.
