Cricket News: BCCI sends Indian Cricketers Association for registration

Cricket players association in India may be a reality in the next few weeks as the Board of Control for Cricket in India has cleared decks for ‘Indian Cricketers Association’. The body may be named Indian Cricketers Association, which has been referred for registration by BCCI. The body is expected to be in place in the next two weeks and before the next annual general meeting of the cricket board. All decisions regarding the composition of the players' association will be taken by the steering committee which consists of Kapil Dev, Bharath Reddy, Anshuman Gaekwad and former India women's team captain Shantha Rangaswamy.
