India's Star Shuttler, PV Sindhu crashed out in the first round of the ongoing All England Open in Birmingham, Sai Praneeth defeated compatriot HS Prannoy in a gripping contest in the men's division. Praneeth edged Prannoy 21-19, 21-19 in 52 minutes to progress to the next round, where he will face Hong Kong's Ng Ka Long. The 26-year-old has all the goods to progress further in the tournament and given how he has beaten top players such as Lee Chong Wei and Srikant Kidambi in the past, one wouldn't bet against the Hyderabad lad.
