Tennis News : Sania Mirza-Shuai Zhang win Ostrava Open

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza clinched her first title of the 2021 season with her Chinese partner Shuai Zhang beating the American- New Zealand pair of Kaitlyn Christian and Erin Routliffe in the women's doubles final of the Ostrava Open in Ostrava. The second seeded Indo-Chinese pair defeated the 3d seeded pair of American Christian and New Zealander Routliffe 6-3 6-2 in the match that lasted for one hour and four minutes. The 34-year-old Sania and her partner Zhang had beaten the Japanese pair 6-2 7-5 in the semifinals of the WTA 500 event.This was Sania Mirza's second final of the season, following a runner-up finish at the WTA 250 Cleveland event in the USA last month with Chirstina Mchale.
