Indian table tennis player G Sathiyan is all set for the upcoming Asian TT championships which will be played in Doha starting from September 28. Veteran Achanta Sharath Kamal will spearhead the men's challenge in the company of G Sathiyan, Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar and Sanil Shetty. G Sathiyan did not have the best outing in the Tokyo Olympics in singles event losing in the second round but the world no.38 is looking to put all this behind and wants to focus on the future and Asian TT Championship is the first competition for Indian paddlers post Tokyo Olympics. The absence of Manika Batra could hurt India as she is the highest ranked Indian TT player in women's singles. Indeed with China's absence India's chances of winning a medal in Asian TT championship is high and we hope that the Indian paddlers live up to the expectations.
