It was another brilliant day of French Open action in Paris on Wednesday. 'King of Clay' Rafael Nadal breezed through his second round match against Mackenzie MacDonald, winning 6-1 6-0 6-3. In the women's draw, third seed Elina Svitolina survived a scare against Renata Zarazua. She bounced back from being bagelled in the second set to eventually get over the line 6-3 0-6 6-2. But the best of the action was saved for the final match on the Philippe Chatrier court, where Alexander Zverev took on Pierre-Hugues Herbert. The German took over four hours to finally beat the home favourite in five stunning sets, 2-6 6-2 7-6 4-6 6-4.
