Novak Djokovic made an impressive start to his French Open 2020 title challenge as he dismissed Swede Mikael Ymer for the loss of just five games. But women's second seed Karolina Pliskova had to come from a set down to beat Egyptian qualifier Mayer Sherif. And home hope Kristina Mladenovic collapsed from 5-1 and set point up to lose to Laura Sigemund, after umpire Eva Asderaki-Moore failed to see the ball bounced twice - if she had, the French woman woud have won the first set.
