Tennis: Djokovic said Bryant was his 'mentor' just days before NBA star died

During an interview at the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic opened up about his relationship with former NBA superstar Kobe Bryant. A day later, Bryant and his daughter was killed along with seven others in a helicopter crash in California. Djokovic recalled the last couple of years when he was going through injury with mental and emotional struggles. He was dropping in the rankings and Kobe was there for him with very valuable advice and guidelines to believe and trust in himself.
