Defending champion Caroline Wozniacki progressed through to the semi-final of the China Open on Friday as she beat Daria Kasatkina 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).The Russian pushed the 2018 champion in the second set and sent it to a tiebreak - however the 16th seed showed her excellence and closed the match in an hour and 37 minutes.
