Tennis: A 'great performance' says Svitolina as she beats Gauff

Number five seed Elina Svitolina of Ukraine went through to the third round of the Australian Open on Thursday after proving too good for 16-year-old American prospect Coco Gauff. The 2019 Wimbledon semi-finalist completed a 6-4, 6-3 victory over the youngest player in the women's draw in an hour and 17 minutes. Svitolina will play No.26 seed Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan next.
