Tennis: 'Nick says some stupid things!' - Tsitsipas on feud between Djokovic and Kyrgios

Stefanos Tsitsipas weighed in on the ongoing feud between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios, admitting that the Australian can say ''stupid thing'' at times, but they ''can be true''. The Greek number five seed had just beaten Gilles Simon of France 6-1, 6-2, 6-1 in just 93 minutes in the first round at the Australian Open on Tuesday. On Monday Kyrgios called top seed Djokovic a "strange cat" - this was in response to comments made by Djokovic on Sunday, that he had no respect for Kyrgios off the court. Kyrgios had previously spoken out against the ill-fated exhibition event that Djokovic organised in the summer which observed no social distancing and saw a number of the players contract Covid-19 after partying at a nightclub and again spoke out against the Serbian for making a list of requests for players who were stuck in quarantine.
